Eldorado

For movie enthusiasts it might have been a shame that the Eldorado cinema in Torggata was shut down last year. Book lovers might say it was good news, because the plan for the old cinema is to open up a new, HUGE book store! It will include, like many other book stores, a coffee shop but also a restaurant in the back yard. What I think is cool is that the initiator are planning to keep the pop corn machines and give out free pop corn to the children (and the grown ups I hope?). They will also save the cinema chairs and scatter them around the store for people to rest in. The book store's name will be Eldorado, like the cinema, and therefore also keep the beautiful copper dome and street facade.
