Traces of old

I like this photo with its traces of old. I like to see the trace of an old building on the brick wall, I get curious and want to find out what building used to be there. I have tried to interpret the words on the wall, only being able to read the bottom one. It says "farvehandel" meaning paint shop. Further than that I didn't get.
